O glorious Virgin, Saint Martha,
you had the honor to welcome our Lord Jesus into your home
and to teach us to be concerned about our eternal welfare.
Pray for us so that we may serve the Lord in our daily life
by serving our fellowmen, especially those who are needy and sick.
Grant that we may be honored with the grace of the Lord
that will take us to heaven , where you praise God forever... Amen

Open my eyes to suffering, hunger, abuse and neglect.
Give me the courage to do what I can to bring healing to the planet
through my active service and compassionate interaction and conversations with others.
Inspire me to spread beauty, intentional gestures of kindness,
and to create sacred space wherever life leads me.
