O
most fervent disciple of Jesus, beloved Saint Martha, whose
thoughtfulness and devotion to the Divine Master caused Him to utter
these words: "Martha,
Martha, thou art careful and art troubled about many things; but one
thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the better part, which shall not
taken away from her". Do thou,
O my kind protectress, help me for my corporal and earthly needs, I may
never lose sight of that eternal truth recommended by Jesus, that one
thing which is needful and which is of decisive importance for me, my
eternal salvation.
O dear
Saints Lazarus, Martha and Mary, pray for us and for our families so
that we may be made partakers of your eternal happiness in heaven.
Most
wonderful Saint Martha, by the Cross which thou hold in thy right hand
and by whose power thou hast conquered the wiles and snares of the
internal enemy, help us in our temptations and trials, that trusting in
the power of Christ, who by His death on the Cross, delivered us from
the power of Satan, we may obtain also the victory which will lead us
to heaven Amen.
